What is Hair Removal?
There are a number of different ways to remove hair. They vary in efficacy, permanence and the level of discomfort during the process.
A few terms:
Depilation – is the removal of the part of the hair above the skin e.g. depilatory creams, shaving, which can be performed at home.
Epilation – is the removal of body hair by forcible extraction. There are many methods to professionally epilate the hair.
Many methods are temporary or semi-permanent like waxing, threading, sugaring.
Other methods have longer lasting effects and are considering to be permanent like electrolysis or almost permanent, like laser hair removal although some new hair may grow in it's place.
Parts of the body that can be treated by hair removal include: Legs, Chest, Bikini Line, Upper Lip, Chin, Back and Under arms.
Other types of hair removal treatments include; waxing, threading, sugaring, electrolysis, laser hair removal, hair removal for men, brazilian waxing, hollywood waxing, male genital waxing
